Creative Dance Thursday

Creative Dance Thursday is a Ballet class at Turning Pointe Dance Company.

At Turning Pointe Dance Company · Ages 2-3

Creative Dance class introduces young dancers ages 2-3 to the joy of movement in a fun, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Dancers explore basic ballet positions and steps while building gross motor and locomotor skills such as hopping, leaping, balancing, and skipping. Through guided activities, imaginative movement, and games such as freeze dance, children learn how to follow instructions, develop listening skills, and build spatial awareness. Classes also encourage social interaction, confidence, and classroom readiness—all while keeping things playful and engaging. This class is designed to foster a love of dance while supporting each child’s physical, social, and cognitive development. All dancers who are taking a ballet class are eligible to participate, free of charge, in TPDC's 2 full-length ballets this season. Tuition is calculated based on how many hours per week a dancer is enrolled. Multiple class discounts, sibling discounts, cash/check discounts, and pay in semester or yearly discounts are also available. Questions about tuition? Send us an email!
