Community Guidelines & User Content Terms
This is a plain-English template. Have legal counsel review it before you rely on it.
DanceGrove is a community for dancers. These guidelines apply to reviews, comments, claims, messages and anything else you post ("user content").
Be truthful and fair
Reviews and posts must reflect genuine, first-hand experience. Don't post false, misleading or defamatory statements, impersonate others, or post on behalf of a competitor to harm a studio.
Be respectful and lawful
No harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, personal data of others, or content that infringes intellectual property or breaks the law.
Your content licence
You keep ownership of your content. By posting, you grant DanceGrove a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it on the service.
Moderation & removal
We may review, moderate, and remove user content, and we remove content on valid notice of a violation. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly break these rules.
Hosting role & safe harbour
DanceGrove acts as a host of user content. To the extent permitted by law (including provisions such as Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act), we are not the publisher or speaker of user content and are not responsible for content provided by users. Reporting content does not make us liable for it.
Reporting
Report content that violates these rules to [email protected]. For copyright, see our DMCA / Copyright policy.
Changes
We may update these guidelines and will revise the date above.
