Pre Ballet/Tap Tuesday is a Ballet class at Turning Pointe Dance Company.

At Turning Pointe Dance Company · Ages 5-6

Our Pre-Ballet/Tap class is designed for dancers ages 5–6 and builds upon the foundations learned in Creative Dance while introducing more technical—yet still developmentally appropriate—ballet skills. In addition to ballet, dancers are introduced to Tap Dance, which helps develop musicality, rhythm, coordination, and fine motor skills. Students continue to work on classroom structure, listening skills, and confidence, all within a positive and encouraging environment. We have found that dancers who have completed our Creative Dance class are especially well-prepared for Pre-Ballet/Tap, as it serves as the next step in our structured class progression. All dancers who are taking a ballet class are eligible to participate, free of charge, in TPDC's 2 full-length ballets this season. Tuition is calculated based on how many hours per week a dancer is enrolled. Multiple class discounts, sibling discounts, cash/check discounts, and pay in semester or yearly discounts are also available. Questions about tuition? Send us an email!
