Modern/Contemporary 12+ (or instructor approval) is a Contemporary class at Minocqua Dance.

At Minocqua Dance

This expressive and creative class explores movement through both modern and contemporary dance techniques. Students will develop a deeper understanding of alignment, parallel and turned-out positions, balance, and the relationship between the spine and movement. Emphasis is placed on artistic expression, musicality, improvisation, and storytelling through dance. Dancers are encouraged to explore their individuality while building strength, flexibility, and technical skills in a supportive and inspiring environment. Dress Code: Skin colored tights (no nylons), tight tank/t-shirt/leotard and booty shorts, barefoot. Male Dancers: White or black T-shirt, Black jazz or athletic pants, barefoot.
