Little Prima Ballerina (Ages 4.5–5.5) Little Prima Ballerina is the perfect next step for dancers who have taken Fairy Tale Ballet or are new to dance but ready for more structure. This class serves as a gentle bridge between our storybook ballet classes and our more formal Level 1 Ballet program. Dancers continue the magic of storytelling while beginning to learn consistent choreography, repetition, and memorization. Each week ends with a treasured fairy tale (like Cinderella), dress-up in beautiful costumes, and a guided “story dance” where dancers use their newly learned ballet steps to help tell the story through pantomiming and expressive movement. Every three weeks, families are invited to a special in-class performance to celebrate their dancer’s progress! Attire: Leotard (pink suggested) and ballet slippers. Tights and skirts are optional. Dancewear is available in our boutique!
