Uniform: Black Leotard, Flesh-Tone Transition Tights, Flesh-Tone Ballet Shoe Ballet I introduces young dancers to the foundational elements of classical ballet in a joyful and structured environment. At this level, students begin to build strength, flexibility, and coordination while developing musicality and body awareness. Class activities include: Basic barre and center work to explore posture, balance, and alignment. Introduction to ballet vocabulary and beginning technique (plié, tendu, relevé, and simple port de bras). Creative movement exercises that encourage self-expression and imagination. Activities that foster teamwork, focus, and discipline in a supportive setting. By the end of Ballet I, dancers will gain confidence in movement, demonstrate emerging technical skills, and develop a love for the artistry and discipline of ballet—laying the groundwork for Ballet II and beyond.
