Ballet FUNdamentals is a Ballet class at Footlight Dance Centre.

At Footlight Dance Centre · Ages 12+

Ballet Fundamentals is designed specifically for students in 7th grade and older who are new to ballet or have very limited prior experience. This class is a true starting point — no prior dance background is needed or expected. Dancers will learn the building blocks of classical ballet: basic barre exercises, foundational steps and positions, proper alignment, and ballet terminology, all in a welcoming, age-appropriate environment. Ballet Fundamentals is the ideal entry point for older students who want to explore ballet for the first time, or for those returning to dance after a long break. It is not a progression class from the younger ballet levels — it is its own track designed for where you are right now. Enrollment: Open to students ages 12 and up with no prior ballet experience (or very limited experience).
