Lyrical 4 is a Ballet class at Footnotes School of Dance.

At Footnotes School of Dance

Lyrical combines the technical foundation of ballet with the style and expression of contemporary movement. Dancers will focus on fluid movement, musicality, balance, flexibility, artistry, and emotional storytelling while continuing to strengthen their technique. Classes encourage dancers to connect movement with music while developing grace, control, and confidence. Because lyrical is rooted in ballet technique, dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class and will be placed in the lyrical level that corresponds with their ballet level. Students typically advance to the next lyrical level as they progress in ballet, ensuring they continue to train with dancers of similar technical ability and receive the strongest technical foundation possible.
