My Little Shadow (Ages 18 Months–2.5 Years) My Little Shadow is a sweet, parent-assisted dance and tumbling class created especially for our littlest dancers. With a grown-up by their side, children explore beginner ballet, tumbling, playful stretches, music, props, and creative movement. Classes help develop balance, coordination, body awareness, gross motor skills, listening skills, confidence, and independence in a warm, age-appropriate environment. Dancers also practice early social skills such as taking turns, following directions, and making new friends. At the end of class, dancers enjoy a treasured fairy tale, dress up in costumes, and join their teacher and grown-up in a magical story dance featuring ballet steps, creative movement, and mime. This class is perfect for new and returning dancers. Attire: No required dress code. Dancers may wear a leotard and tutu or comfortable clothing. Dancewear is available in our studio boutique.
