At Dance Fever Huntersville · $90

CLASS STARTS IN SEPTEMBER This class meets once a week and combines Ballet, Tap, and Hip Hop/Jazz (30 minutes each- 90 total). The format is designed to introduce young dancers to multiple techniques of dance. At this level, students are introduced to multiple tap rhythms and sounds, begin studying ballet barre exercises, proper ballet positions of the body and elements of hip-hop and jazz techniques. Students will perform all three dances at the year-end recital. Students should be entering Kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade. Dancers must wear a leotard and tights of any color/style with pink ballet shoes and tan tap shoes (shoes sold in the studio office). Separate shoes are not needed for hip-hop/jazz, we will wear ballet shoes for that portion of the class. Boys are welcome to wear athletic pants/tops with black ballet shoes and black tap shoes.
