Jazz dance focuses on developing strength, flexibility, coordination, musicality, and performance skills. Students will learn jazz terminology and technique through warm-ups, stretching, turns, leaps, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography. Classes emphasize proper technique, body control, stage presence, and confidence while exploring a variety of jazz styles and music. Dancers must complete Ruby Jazz and be enrolled in a ballet class. Classes meet once per week for 45-minute sessions. Students must be at least 8 years old to enroll. All enrolled dancers are required to participate in the Spring Recital on June 4–5. Dress Code: Black tights with dance shorts or black leggings, a fitted leotard, tank top, or dance shirt, and black or tan jazz shoes. Hair must be secured in a high or low bun. Tuition & Fees: Tuition is $55 per month and is due on the 1st of each month. A $50 registration fee is required for all dancers. Costume fees range from $70–$100 per costum
