Contemporary-dancers are required to be enrolled in a ballet class Contemporary dance combines elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance while encouraging creativity, musicality, and self-expression. Students will develop strength, flexibility, balance, and fluid movement quality through technique exercises, center floor work, improvisation, and choreography. Classes meet once per week for 45-minute sessions. Students must be at least 7 years old to enroll. All enrolled dancers are required to participate in the Spring Recital on June 4–5. Dress Code Black tights with dance shorts or black leggings Fitted leotard, tank top, or dance shirt Bare feet, foot undies, or lyrical shoes (as directed by the instructor) Hair secured in a high or low bun. Tuition: $55 per month, due on the 1st of each month. Registration Fee: $50 per dancer Costume Fees: $70–$100 per costume, depending on the costume selected for the recital.
