Introduction to Lyrical/Contemporary.N (ages 9 yrs - 11 yrs) is a Ballet class at MMPAC.

PREREQUISITE: Ballet 225 or above is required with this class. This is a hybrid add on to Ballet 225 and Jazz 325. Characterized by fluidity, lyrical combines elements of ballet, jazz and modern dance, giving students an opportunity to interpret a wide range of expressions and emotions. Contemporary adds powerful, symbolic modern movement to the flow of lyrical. Female dancers should wear a basic black tank leotard with convertible or footless suntan tights. Boys follow guidelines for ballet without shoes.
