Tap II is a Tap class at Borne Arts Collective in Sacramento.

In our Tap 1 class, students learn that our feet are percussive instruments. Our class emphasizes the foundations of tap technique, rhythm, and musicality. Students explore basic tap steps such as flaps and shuffles and also work traveling movements such as waltz clog, Irish, buffalo and flap ball change. Focus is placed on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds and gaining understanding of how their sounds and movements fit into music. Class consists of warm-ups at the barre, technical work in center, across the floors and weekly choreography combinations.
