By teacher placement only. This class is designed for dancers with a strong ballet background, ideally those in Ballet Levels 4 and 5. Contemporary dance serves as a movement laboratory, where students engage in rich, multidimensional phrase work and explore a wide range of physical qualities and textures. Each class offers an immersive experience, blending physical challenges with creative exploration through imagery, improvisation, and musical complexity. Students are encouraged to listen deeply, respond intuitively, and experiment with tempo, texture, and nuance. Each session is structured like a masterclass centered around a specific concept, guiding dancers on a thoughtful and empowering journey toward deeper artistry and movement intelligence. While we recommend students take at least two ballet classes per week to support their training, concurrent ballet enrollment is not required—however, a Level 4–5 ballet foundation is essential. This class does not count towards Ballet Level 4 or Level 5 requirements (4 ballet classes a week)
