Dancers will explore both tap and jazz in this hour combination class. Jazz is a high-energy style that focuses on overall dance technique, progressions, musicality, and performance skills. This form of dance is beneficial as it provides a strong foundation that applies to many other styles of dance. In tap, dancers will develop rhythm tap technique while strengthening their sense of timing, coordination, musical skills, and rhythmic accuracy. Through warm-ups, progressions, and choreography combinations, dancers will continue to build confidence and technique. A class syllabus is used, along with positive feedback to encourage the dancer.
