Level 2 Contemporary A

Level 2 Contemporary A is a Ballet class at Studio 22 Dance Center.

This weekly class combines elements of ballet, modern, lyrical, and jazz. Classes will have a heavy emphasis on ballet technique with the combined modern movements of contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation. Partner work such as lifting and weight sharing will also be covered. A proper warm-up and stretch, across the floor patterns, center floor technique, and choreography will be included each class. Watch as students begin to develop expressive movements and explore realistic and abstract ways to move across the stage. Contemporary classes will perform one dance in the annual recital.
