Arthur Murray Dance Studio

My girlfriend and I got an introductory lesson here as a gift for her birthday. We had A BLAST! The dance instruction was excellent, we learned a lot, and afterwards we got to be part of a themed dance party they hold every Friday during festival season. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming! We highly recommend Arthur Murray for anyone looking to learn how to dance!

Beautiful studio, positive, enthusiastic instructors. We retired and said now we have time to learn how to dance! With the group and Personal Lessons, the parties, we are dancing 3 days a week and learning so much. It's a fun, active, date night. We love coming to AMDC.

A little over a year ago, I wouldn’t step foot on a dance floor unless majorly coerced by dear friends - and even then sometimes I would still decline. Don’t get me wrong - I’ve LOVED dancing for as long as I can recall - but within the privacy of my own home. And it looked nothing like ballroom dancing, trust me on that! 😂 Then I met my current dance teacher, Matt, and everything changed. I recently danced on stage at The Arthur Murray Showcase for the first time and was amazed at how much I’ve learned in a year. All it took was a willingness to get out of my comfort zone and learn something new. Having a great teacher also makes a big difference! I’m so thankful to be on this beautiful journey of learning and growing. Go ahead - try learning something new this week - you might be surprised what you find yourself doing a year from now! 😉

I cannot recommend Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Bloomington enough. The instructors truly care about their students, and they go above and beyond to ensure each student has a great time. If you want to learn to dance, but you are worried about trying something new, reach out to the studio. The environment is welcoming and supportive, and you will be dancing in no time!

The instructors are excellent, and clearly care about their students. They offer classes and lessons for all skill levels. Arthur Murray is a great place for anyone to learn, laugh, and enjoy the beauty of dancing! I can't recommend this dance studio highly enough.

I've taken West Coast Swing, Bachata and Salsa here. The teachers are great, especially Brad and Jess. Brad really focuses on frame which has helped a ton! I love the way they break the steps down in a way that is helping to fix some of my bad habits and muscle memory. The classes are small enough too that you get just the right amount of attention, enough to fix what you do wrong but not too much to feel overwhelming. So grateful to have such an awesome place to learn and dance!

Taking salsa and bachata lessons here and loving it. Jess, Olivia, Brad, Rafa and Jackie are not only talented instructors but seem like genuinely good people who create a welcoming vibe. You might find a studio closer or more convenient, but I doubt many match how much you'll grow here — your progress really matches the effort you put in. Great people, attentive instructors, great energy, and a great place to learn.

We love Jess! We have taken all of her swing classes and it was a no brainer that we wanted her to choreograph our wedding dance. We took private lessons before our wedding and she was so patient and encouraging. I felt like I had two left feet when I started but Jess gave me the confidence to feel great going into our first dance and have fun with it. It was one of my favorite parts of the evening and we got so many compliments. Definitely recommend!!!
