I had such a wonderful experience at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Solana Beach! The instructors are incredibly welcoming, patient, and professional, making every lesson both fun and comfortable.

The studio itself is beautiful, clean, and has such a positive energy. Every lesson feels encouraging and motivating, whether you’re brand new to dancing or looking to improve your skills. You can tell the staff really care about their students and creating a supportive community. Coach John is excellent, his lessons are fun, corrections are accurate for the move.

My parents are ballroom dancing enthusiasts, and I love watching them dance. Despite my dad’s invitation, I struggled to follow their intricate steps. This year, I decided to learn ballroom dancing as a surprise when I dance with them again. We first started lessons to prepare for an event but continue to go to the Solana beach studio because of the fabulous staff! The co-owners Jasmine and Jonathon have assembled a top notch group of instructors and front office staff. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive! Our private lessons are amazing and the group lessons and biweekly dance parties are so much fun. Every new student is warmly welcomed in by both the instructors and the other students. It is a delightful dance community- even for beginners!

We were able to do the new student intro offer with John, who was absolutely amazing! We wanted to practice our first dance for our upcoming wedding, and he made us feel so comfortable. He was so warm & personable, & made us feel so excited about it (instead of nervous!). Would absolutely recommend him & the studio to anyone!
