Tap dance classes are energetic and fun ways to learn rhythm, style, and sound through movement and footwork! Tap classes focus on developing proper technique, including clear tap sounds and the ability to coordinate the lower body with the rest of the body. Tap classes emphasize rhythm and percussion, and teach dancers to understand the rhythm of music and complement it with the sound of their tap shoes. Tap classes help dancers build flexibility in their knees and ankles while also helping them improve their coordination, balance, and motor control, enhancing their spatial awareness and agility. Must be 7 years old by September 1, 2026.
