Jazz has a strong emphasis on control, style, and fluidity of movement. It is a technically challenging, class with a wide range of motion. It is performed to various types of music. We highly recommend that students continue taking their ballet training while taking jazz. Proper strengthening exercises and a stretching program for maximum flexibility are taught. This is an excellent class for improving turns, leaps & jumps. *There will be a recital jazz dance taught!
