Dancers invited to join Int./Adv. Pointe have developed the proper strength at the barre in order to perform intermediate level steps properly en Pointe. For dancers to be invited to join the Int/Adv. Pointe class, they must demonstrate a sufficient understanding of alignment and adequate strength in their pointe shoes to avoid injury while dancing without a barre. To be eligible for a pointe promotion to Int/Adv Pointe class, dancers must have three years of ballet experience and be assessed by an instructor. This class will help dancers further their skills in dancing en pointe off the barre, performing more complex steps en pointe. Int./Adv. Pointe students must also be enrolled in Ballet III. Ages: 14 - 18
