Beginning Acro-Jazz Dance & Poms class is designed for students interested in combining beginning and intermediate acro movements with beginning jazz dance, and integrating cheer choreography. Students will participate in stretching and strengthening, then progress to floor acro movements, jazz dance technique, and skill development, and finish learning Cheer-Dance choreography with pom-poms.. This class is most similar to the collegiate dance-team style of dance and very high energy. Dress code: Black leggings or fitted pants or fitted black shorts with black, pink, or white leotard or fitted top. Bare feet are best for this class as students will engage in acrobatics. Hair must be secured in a bun, ponytail, or other neat hairstyle. No socks, no jewelry.
