Level 2 Contemporary is a 60-minute class designed to expand foundational skills while introducing more fluid movement, control, and expressive choreography. Dancers will begin to explore deeper emotional connection and more detailed contemporary technique. Students will be challenged to refine their movement quality, improve transitions, and develop stronger performance skills in a creative and supportive environment. All Level 2 Contemporary dancers will perform in both the Winter and Spring Recitals. Skills Dancers Will Develop: - Expanded contemporary technique and vocabulary - Improved floor work and transitions - Strength, control, and flexibility development - Musicality and dynamic movement quality - Introduction to more structured improvisation - Emotional expression and storytelling - Choreography retention and execution - Coordination and body awareness - Performance quality and stage presence - Confidence building and artistry - And so much more!
